Fire hits apartment block on Dubai’s artificial Palm island.

Fire hits apartment block – Another fire has hit one of Dubai’s high rise buildings on the 14th floor, this time in Palm Jumeriah the artificial palm island. The Fire is believed to have started in one of the penthouses and has spread to other apartments.

At least one of the building’s penthouses erupted into flames at around 10:30 p.m. local time Monday, according to 7Days UAE, with eyewitness capturing pictures of the blaze as it spread down the building from several kilometers away.
