CNN Screw Themselves with this Interview with Kassem Eid.
Kassem Eid, a Syrian who survived a chemical weapons attack in 2013, was interviewed on CNN following the US missile strike. He is thankful to President Trump for what he did, and he has no doubt that the gas attack was conducted by Assad.
After expressing his gratitude for the intervention, Eid points out that Assad is still in power, reminding the audience that he killed half a million people and displaced twelve million more. Thousands were tortured and thousands of women were raped. “He helped create ISIS with his atrocities,” said Eid. “He drove people to desperation, to join extremist groups when they didn’t find justice and they went after revenge, he displaced millions of people.”
