If you’ve been keeping track of the Superbowl playoffs then you know that the 2 teams facing off on Super Bowl Sunday will be the New England Patriots vs the Atlanta Falcons. I only really pay attention to the big game itself but my friends are super into the playoffs and the whole lead up the Super Bowl, they even place bets on the games at https://www.fanduel.com/nfl-playoffs-super-bowl! They’re that big of fans that they’ve all gone and purchased a Custom Football so they can play along at home, but like I said, I personally don’t really pay a lot of attention to it.

Anyway, the Super Bowl LI will be the 51st Super Bowl and the 47th modern-era National Football League (NFL) championship game. The American Football Conference (AFC) champion New England Patriots will play the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Atlanta Falcons to decide the league champion for the 2016 season. If you are looking for information on the AFL as well as the NFL, you can check their official website on when they will be playing, so you can catch both plays without the worry that you may miss one during football season. You can pick up your fan jerseys at the afl store and the NFL store online.

Super Bowl LI is scheduled to be played at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on Sunday, February 5. It will be the second Super Bowl to be held at NRG Stadium, the other being Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004, which also featured the New England Patriots; and also the third time the Super Bowl has been played in Houston, after Super Bowl VIII in 1974 was held at Rice Stadium.

The event will mark the 50th anniversary year of the first Super Bowl, which was played on January 15, 1967. Super Bowl LI is the Patriots’ ninth Super Bowl appearance, the most Super Bowl appearances of any team. It is also their second appearance in three years and their seventh under the leadership of head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady. The Falcons are making their second appearance as a franchise and will have the chance to win their first Super Bowl, having lost in their only previous Super Bowl appearance in Super Bowl XXXIII. This sporting event should be as exciting as it usually is. People will be preparing for it now, making sure they have the correct snacks and drinks in ready for the Superbowl. Some people might even go further and hang their team’s flag from residential flagpoles outside their homes to support their team. So many homeowners do this around America, so it might be worth getting a hold of a flag ready for this event. Hopefully, the game will be amazing as always.

The Super Bowl LI halftime show will be headlined by Lady Gaga.
