    Delete Amazon Echo Data.

Amazon saves all your voice data for lawyers and hackers who want access.

Your Amazon Echo is always listening, always sending recordings of your conversations back to Amazon. You echo is not a nice little lady that sits on your desk and only activates when you address her by her name “Alexa”.

If you do not believe me place your Amazon Echo in front of your TV and play a TV-series like Shooter, your Echo will develop “Electronic Turrets Syndrome”, activating at will.

Here is how you can delete it.

    Option 1: Delete individual recordings

To delete specific recordings, go to the Amazon Echo app > Settings > History. You’ll see a list of all the requests you’ve made since setting up your Echo. To delete a recording, tap it, then tap Delete voice recordings.

    Option 2: Delete everything

For those who don’t take chances, there’s a way to delete all voice data in one fell swoop. Head to www.amazon.com/myx, sign in, and click Your Devices. Select Amazon Echo, then click Manage Voice Recordings.
