Donald Trump is getting pro-active. He is about concerned the White House race could be “rigged” against him. The campaign is recruiting “election observers” to help monitor the vote. Details of the program are unclear and are raising concerns about potential Election Day confrontations.
With roughly one month until Election Day, absentee or early voting is already underway in some states. Trump’s campaign insists it has built out a formidable ground game. Concerns were the Republican nominee was reluctant to invest in it.
“People will be very surprised by our ground game on Nov. 8,” Trump tweeted last month. “We have an army of volunteers and people with GREAT SPIRIT!”
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Thursday called for volunteers to be his own election observers to prevent his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, from “rigging” the Nov. 8 election.
This year’s U.S. presidential elections will have international election observers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. They have supervised previous elections, and – for the first time – from the Organization of American States there are 11 states that limit or prohibit international election observers.
Those states, some of which have placed obstacles on OSCE observers in the past, are Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Indiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio and Connecticut.
Donald Trump has been claiming, of late, that if he loses in November, it will be because the election was “rigged.” After all, he says, look at the big, enthusiastic crowds he attracts at his events.
Of course, massive crowds do not necessarily foretell victory. Mr. Trump, it appears, is preparing the groundwork not to lose from Crooked Hillary rigging this election.
In conclusion, we need volunteers especially in suspected voter fraud districts. Let’s not let Crooked Hillary STEAL this election!
