Hillary Clinton wins Ohio.
Hillary Clinton topped Senator Bernie Sanders in Ohio, according to The Associated Press, fending off a late challenge from her Democratic opponent and blunting some of his recent momentum.
Mrs. Clinton was expected to win the Buckeye State, but after Mr. Sanders’s surprising victory in Michigan this month, many analysts thought that an upset were possible.
Mr. Sanders continues to do well with younger white voters, but he was unable to match Mrs. Clinton’s appeal to older voters, women and minorities.
There were 143 delegates at stake for Democrats in Ohio
